I will also give you a run down of all the shows you just might be able to see my fuzzy elbow in the background of!
Now for some wonderful news that might not make much sense to non Hollywood people:
I GOT MY FIRST SAG VOUCHER!
I have to obtain three of them in order to join the union and they can be difficult to get so having the first one out of the way feels like a really big victory.
They gave it to me when they recalled me for a brand new, untitled pilot show that I will tell you all about when it gets picked up for next season ;)
Thought I would post this just in case anyone hasn't seen it.
I got called in to do background in my bikini and we have had a chili past couple of days here in LA.
So since I left pretty much all of warm stuff back in Kentucky my roomies were kind enough to piece me together a warm wardrobe complete with bathrobe!
The second day of filming the pilot was pretty warm and sunny. My job was to sit next to the pool and dip my feet in, while the sun warmed me, and kraft services provided amazing food.
THEN after that long and tedious day I come home and sit on the couch while Matt makes me a quesadilla and Ryan, unsolicited, brings me a glass of water.
I am quickly developing misconceptions about what it's like to live on my own in California.
Another piece of good news is that I have now seen a ton of celebrities so it barely phases me when someone like Seth Rogen sits down next to me. Although if a member of the Whedon-verse were to enter my line of vision I would probably still hyperventilate.
Oh to have touched such brilliance.
And now as promised a list of the shows and dates I MIGHT appear on them:
The Mindy Project: March 26th
New Girl: February 26th
Suburgatory: April 3
Dexter: June 30
There are a couple of others that do not have the dates posted yet but I will let you know as soon as I find them out!
I would tell you all about what I am wearing and who was in the episode so that you could look for me BUT you never really know what will get you black listed so I just won't say anything until the episode airs. That way I can find myself and tell you the exact moments to look for me. AND I don't run the risk of getting accused of spoiling the show.
Background work has been the biggest blessing because it has allowed me to make money while actually being on set.
No, I am not a star but you learn so much just by being on a set. Who knows what director will see my brilliant smile and decide that I MUST be seen in line to get coffee in front of Ryan Reynolds.
It is a crazy world out here. Pretty much every day brings a new possibility of 'getting discovered'.
And since I am writing on a coffee buzz at 2 am I am going to stop.
Next post to come soon!
